Over 600 Paradox script files, all encrypted, make up a legacy Paradox for DOS application a new client has. They want me to replicate it in Access, so they are no longer beholden to the fellow who wrote it, or limited to legacy versions of Windows. To understand all the business rules, now in effect over 15 years, we had to get into the scripts and read them. Thegrideon Software was able to give us plain-text files for each of the 620 or so scripts, in just a few days, and at a reasonable price for the work and value involved. We thank them.

Common questions
- What is this service?
- This service has been started to help our customers with problems they meet in day-to-day activities in office and at home.
- Are this service and Thegrideon Software one team?
- Mostly yes. Same Top management team, same security specialists and same developers. We’ve hired new service engineers and made them to work 24 hours a day!
- Why are you the best?
- We use new technologies and invest a lot in our know how. We make our service comfortable for our customers. We help people.
- Are you hackers?
- If you mean computer criminals – no. We are professionals.
- What is your responsibility?
- We are fully responsible for our work and the result. If we fail to open your files – you pay nothing. If we fail to get in time – your fee is lower. We are also responsible for keeping confidentiality of your files.
- Is it true that all files can be decrypted and passwords recovered?
- All – not. Most of them – yes. Some files require plenty of work. Some require plenty of hardware. You can send us your file and we test it for free.
- Why don’t to make your service online?
- Online service is on our plans.
- You are not the fastest. I’ve seen online services.
- Great! So did us! Those online services were not able to open some of our files we’ve sent them to test. Those services work only with one or two file-types. We work with plenty of file-types. Soon we start online services for all of file-types we support. We are really fast service for files we support. In most cases you get the result within 30 minutes no matter what file you’ve submitted! 24 hours a day!
- Can you, please, provide full list of file-type you are working with?
- Our opinion that full list of file-types is interesting only for our competitors. If you have file to decrypt, remove password, etc… you can submit it to us and we’ll answer you if we can work with it or not.
- I have file, but don’t know how to open it. Can you help?
- We are sure we can. Feel free to submit your files to us. It is no charge for that.
Service help
- It is not completely clear for me what Momentary service is.
- When you order Momentary service – you order the highest priority of service. This means that if we receive such kind of order one of service engineers gets it immediately and provide you with the result within one hour. Other types of orders can be processed more than one hour, but not more than 12 hours. It is highly recommended to send us and email prior to order Momentary service. This can help you and us to be sure that order will be processed less than one hour.
- How can I upload or submit file to you.
- We suggest you to zip compress files using Winzip or Pkzip if this will help reduce file sizes.
- If your file(s) are less than 15Mb, you may email them to our e-mail directly.
- If your file(s) are up to 20Mb, you can also use our web form. Add your file and press "Submit..." to upload your file to us.
- If your file(s) are larger than 20Mb., please contact us by e-mail before uploading (and let us know file(s) size in question).
- Also we have special methods for extremely large files. (more than 200 Mb)
- Can you, please, provide step-by-step procedure of work?
- You submit or email or ftp your file(s) to us.
- Immediately after submit is successful you get the confirmation letter that your file(s) were successfully submitted.
- We start our work and depending on the type of order you get the email with part of result within one hour or within 12 hours.
- This email includes link to make payment.
- You just click this link and make payment.
- After payment is successful you get the complete result – decrypted file, passwords, passwords removed, protection removed, etc.
- You test the result and if it is ok reply us back that our work was successful. After that we immediately remove your files. If we do not get such kind of answer from you – we keep your files only 48 hours more and then delete it.
- How do you check the time of service?
- We consider that time starts count from the moment you got the confirmation email that files we successfully submitted and stops when you get the email with part of result and link for payment.
- I heard that archive cannot be decrypted. Is that true?
- It is not so simple question. We can say that most of archives cannot be opened within 12 hours. So before you submit your encrypted archive to us it is recommended to send us an email with question to be sure we can process it.
